
About The Healers Community Circle Program
The Healers Community Circle Program by We Are Healers is a unique opportunity to join a supportive, close-knit community of Native students who are passionate about health professions. This program brings together future Healers in a deeply relational space that emphasizes mentorship, peer support, and collaborative learning.
In this 12-month grant period, We Are Healers will offer up to 15 Healers Community Circle opportunities for Native students on their path toward a health profession.

Eligibility and Requirements:
Currently enrolled in college or recently completed a degree.
A member of a Native American/American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian community.
Pursuing a career in healthcare (this includes medical students, dental, public health, allied health, nursing, behavioral health etc.)
Must be residing in the US.
Applications for the 2026 Healers Community Circle cohort open October 15, 2025
Goals & Objectives of Healers Community Circle Program:
1. Provide real-time inspiration and demystify the health professional learning process.
2. Provide funding to accomplish an individually defined project that will re-imagine community health.
3. Provide mentorship via digital community, preparatory course/material assistance, educational enrichment program assistance as well as examination fee assistance (if applicable), technology and school material needs where applicable.
4. Networking and community building with other American Indian and Alaskan Native health professionals and students via quarterly virtual gatherings.
